Miami Career Fair ‘24

On March 2, 2024, we attended the Miami Career Fair organized by TSA Global and had a great experience. The opportunity to come together with 35 leading companies as more than 100 students is not something you get every time. Prominent Turkish businessmen such as Rahmi Koç, Bekir Okan, Erhan Çevikel and Resul Şahinol shared their career journeys and experiences with us. At the end of their speeches, there was a Q&A session where Turkish students participating in the fair asked their questions and had a pleasant time.

During the fair, we had the opportunity to meet and chat with company representatives in one-to-one networking sessions. Exploring internship and full-time job opportunities helped us shape our careers. It was useful to learn about mentoring programs for those interested in specific careers to get advice from experts in that field.

Personalized career advice helped us understand what we should do and what skills we should acquire as we embark on professional life. Learning what we need to do to succeed in a competitive job market gave us all a new perspective. The knowledge we gained and the connections we made at this event were a big step for our future. It was a productive and useful experience for all of us!
