New York Career Fair ‘24

The New York Career Fair organized by TSA Global on April 13, 2024, at the Turkish House in New York was a great opportunity for us Turkish students. At the event, we had the chance to meet with 20 leading companies from different sectors such as finance, technology and engineering. The panel of expert speakers that TSA Global brought together with the students was also very useful for the students.

The networking breakfast organized in the morning was a great start to meet professionals in a friendly environment. Following the breakfast, speakers provided information on industry trends and career development within their fields. There were 3 speakers who gave insights on their professions.

The first speaker was Alp Ozaman. He is the Regional Marketing Manager at Turkish Airlines. He talked about the challenges he had to face while getting to the position he is at today.

The second speaker was Meryem Göksu Kaya. She is the manager of her own company called Nature's Wild Organics. She talked about the difficulties she faced as a women to show the students that everyone can rise to the top with enough hardwork.

Our last speaker was Serhan Altıntaş. He is the CMO at Pfizer. He also talked about the challenges he had to face during his lifetime, especially in a field as competitive as medicine.

The most exciting part of the day was the career fair. Here we had the chance to meet recruiters directly, explore internship and job opportunities and expand our professional network. This event was very important for us to make the connections we need to steer our careers and achieve our goals. At the end of the event, we all left very happy that we were able to take advantage of this opportunity!
